Adding Report Category to roles

Overview

Each Report is placed in its respective Category.

When assiging reports to a Role you need to assign the report category to each role.

  1. Double click on "Roles" from the Navigation menu
  2. Select the required "Role Name". Repeat this step thru to point 6 to assign the report category for each Role.

     

     Show Me

  3. Click "Permissions"

     

     Show me

  4. Click on New
    Search for ReportCategoryPermissions" and double Click.

     Show Me

     

    A window will open for you to insert the required Report Category Permission Objects.

     Show me

  5. Click "NEW" within that window and start adding
    the required Report Category you wish to assign to that Role.

     Show Me

    Select one at a time of the Categories that you wish to assign to that role.
    Click on Save and Close once you are done.
