Price Level based on Markup From Cost
First you need to set up a price level based on Current Cost
(Only if one does not exist already. If it does already exist, follow on with the instructions underneath where is says "Now set up the price level for Markup from Cost")
- From the Navigation panel>Administration
- Click on Price Levels
- Click on button New
- Key in code of Current Cost
- Key in description of Current Cost
- Select Calculation Method of Current Cost
- Click on button Save and Close
Now set up the price level for Markup from Cost
- From the Navigation panel>Administration
- Click on Price Levels
- Click on button New
- Key in code of whatever you want to call it - short code of it
- Key in description of whatever description you want to call it
- Select Calculation Method drop down of Discount From PriceLevel
- Select Discount For Price Level drop down of Current Cost
- Key in Discount Percent of a negative value (i.e. -10.0% means add 10% to cost = 10% markup from cost. The negative on a discount from price level means add to. If you didn't add the negative to the value, then it will in fact discount further off the price level)
- Click on button Save and Close
Generate Product Price Levels
Once a New price level is created a task would need to run. The task generally runs of an evening however if you require the Price Levels to appear on products immediately you will need to go from the Navigation Panel> Administration> Advanced> Tasks and locate "Generate Product Price Levels" and click on button "Run Task Now". once the task is complete the new price level will appear on the product file.
Make sure you check and test this price level out.
Should you want the price level appearing on the web, you will need to contact Readysell to get the Web Price Level ID/s and the Web Price Level Code/s to be filled in.
