Service Training Outline

Overview

 The Readysell service training program is a practical hands-on workshop intended to give participants the opportunity to work through all relevant aspects of the Readysell Service module:

  • We use the Readysell demonstration system for the workshop, so the examples you work with line up with the documentation. Everyone gets the same experience no matter which parts of the Service module are currently used in your business.

  • Participants can elect to skip areas of the program that are not relevant to their business.

  • The program is included as part of the Readysell help system and the demo system is available 24/7. So participants can revisit the online program in the future at any time.

Service Training Program structure

  • The training program is broken up into five ninety-minute sessions as follows. But it is usually tailored, to an extent, that suits the participants in each case:

    • Session one: The service training toolset, correct system setup, and service orders

    • Session two: Service orders, responses to queries from the first session, and further service order training

    • Session three: Machines, meter counts, and meter charges

    • Session four: Reporting and review of progress thus far

    • Session five: Workshopping session using practical examples on the Readysell demo system

    • Optional Session 1: Technical infrastructure, API, and import parameters

    • Optional Session 2: Detailed walkthrough of the service training, getting started, and user guides. Walking through the points that can’t be covered earlier. With deep diving into topics of interest to participants.

Initial setup - for administrators

  • For Administrators. Service/Machines Initial Setup Checklist.

  • It focuses on checking basic settings and setup adjustments. To ensure your Readysell service system is set up correctly.

Basic service functions - for everyone.

During this session we will be focusing on the following areas within the Service Module:

  • Machines: equipment that is tracked

  • Service Orders - work that needs to be performed

  • Service Calls - work performed by a technician on the service order

  • Meter Count Runs - counts that are tracked for the machine meters

  • Meter charge run - the charges that are generated from the meter count runs

  • Service Order Template - standard service order structures used to create a service order/quote

  • Toner Pools - tracking of toners for groups of machines

Meter Count Runs to track machine usage

  • Setting Up a Meter

  • Using meter services to manage Preventative Maintenance

  • Conducting a meter count run

  • Importing Meter Count Run from an Excel Spreadsheet

  • Extracting meters

  • Verifying meter counts

  • Troubleshooting issues with meter count run emails

  • Correcting meter count runs and charging the difference

  • Setting up a web-based copy count capture

  • Resetting meter counts without charging the customer using count reversals

 

Meter Charge runs

  • Meter Charge Runs to generate and process print service invoices

  • Reversing a Meter Charge Run

 

Toner tracking and toner pools

  • Toner tracking for individual machines

Session Four

  • Review of questions and queries from session three

Reporting on machine performance

  • Readysell’s analysis and list reports for machines

  • Readysell’s form reports for machines

 

Optional Session 1: Technical infrastructure, API, and import parameters

  • Technical training outside the scope of the support team. For professional IT staff. Conducted by our development team.

  • Note: Some matters raised during other user training sessions may require running a technical training session.

Optional Session 2: Detailed walkthrough of the service training, getting started, and user guides.

  • Walking through the points that can’t be covered earlier. With deep diving into topics of interest to participants. 

  • There are hundreds of topics in the service training, user, and getting started guides. We walk through the list and investigate items of particular interest to participants.
