Creating a copy of an existing sale shipment that is not from a sale order

You can use the Copy button in the ribbon to create a single copy of an existing sale shipment. As long as the sale shipment is not from a sale order.

  1. From the Navigation panel, click on Sales then click on Shipments.
  2. Search for and select the shipment you wish to copy.
  3. Click on button Copy in the ribbon. Readysell will create a sale shipment as a copy of the one you selected.

  4. If necessary, you can add or delete products from this shipment, or change any other details that are necessary.
  5. When you have finished, you have three options. If you have not filled in all mandatory fields at this point, Readysell will tell you what information is missing.
    • Save parks the shipment. Use this if you are unable to complete the sale shipment at this time, but want to return to it later.

    • Pick generates a picking slip from the sale order

If you copy a sale order or sale shipment. The system will copy the price mode on each line. If the price mode is 'system' or one of the other price modes that can be recalculated. The sell price on those lines may change on the copy. We can't stop this from happening without causing other issues like quantity break pricing not applying to the copied transaction. Please watch out for this behaviour.

You can't copy a sale shipment that is from a sale order. Automatic warehousing and other processes control making shipments from orders. So the copy button is deliberately hidden for shipments from sale orders.
