Sale Shipment Runs
Overview
This feature is not available in Readysell Lite.
A sale shipment run is used where you want to generate shipments from sales orders where automatic warehousing is either not being used at the site or is not fulfilling to your expectations. This process could also print picking slips based on settings on the workstations.
Getting Started

Image | Field | Description |
---|---|---|
New | Create a New sale shipment Run | |
Save | Save changes as you go | |
Attach File | If you want to attach any files like spreadsheets or user guides etc, use this button on the sale shipment run you have already created. It can only be attached to a Sale Shipment run that has a transaction Number assigned to it and the transaction also must be saved first before you can attach anything to it. | |
Extract Orders | Used to extract from sales orders or service orders to be turned into Sale Shipments. | |
Generate Shipments | Once you have extracted the data into the SALSRN (Sale Shipment Run), edit the lines if required first, then use the Generate Shipments button to turn them into sale shipments. | |
Delete | Used to delete the sale shipment run if you no longer want it. You cannot delete a Posted Sale Shipment Run | |
Cancel | Used to cancel your last lot of changes and restore you back to your last save. If you haven't saved the sale shipment run at all before and the transaction Number is 0, then when you hit Cancel, it will completely cancel the sale shipment run as the transaction Number was 0 | |
View Variants | If you create a different view of columns in the List view, the list of all of the sale shipment runs (according to the filter you're working off) you can save it as a View Variant so that the system remembers your view you created. If you do not save it as a view variant, then when the next upgrade is sent to your site, it will trash off all the views you have created but not saved as a view variant. If you update an existing view variant, please make sure you drop down the view variant, select Rename View Variant (do not change the name), and click on OK to save it. |
