Sending a general email batch

If you wish to attach a document to this email batch, ensure to have the document created and saved in a folder.


  1. Log onto Readysell> Email Batches then click New.
  2. In the Type field, select the type of email you are sending.

    Select General for multi-purpose emailing such as promotional flyers, one-off communication, christmas message etc

  3. In the Name field, enter a name for the email batch. This is only displayed in the Readysell system and will not be visible to recipients.
  4. By default, Readysell generates a subject line for the email based on the type you selected. You can change this if you wish.
  5. If you don't want to clutter your emails, remove the BCC email address as all emails going out and coming in are stored in Readysell Messages module.
  6. If you wish to add some extra notes to the email, click on the General Tab. Below the Notes heading start typing your message

  7. Either enter the recipients for the email one at a time by click on New in the Lines tab
  8. Or click on Extract Batch to populate recipients for the email via a selection criteria
    Ensure to check the email batch, re email addresses and duplicated emails to the one customer before continuing.
    You can delete any number of email contacts from within the batch before you click on Run Batch Now.

    If you wish to select only a few customers, then create the criteria.

    If you wish to send the emails to all cards that are a customer and accounts payable is true etc, then you create the appropriate criteria.

  9. In the General tab, verify that the automatically generated details are correct, and change them if necessary.

  10. Key in the email content in the Notes area or check already entered email contact.

    * Files can be attached to the email by clicking on the Add Attachment on the ribbon line and selecting the files from a directory folder.
    Create the document and save it into a folder, then attach it before you click on Run email batch.

    * Image file can be added to the email by clicking on the Insert Image button and selecting the image from a directory folder.

  11. If desired, you can preview the email in the Preview tab.
  12. Verify that the details are correct.
  13. When you have finished, click either Save to save the batch.
  14. Click Run Batch Now from the top panel.

  15. Email batch sending status checking is similar to Sending customer statements using an email batch  

If recipient email address is incorrect validation error occurs- "Email address 'test@test.com.au' is not valid"

Note: You must create a batch before you can run it.

  1. In the email batch list, locate the batch you want to run.
  2. Verify that the details are correct.
  3. Click Run Batch Now to run the batch.

Verifying that a batch has been run

Once you have run a batch, the Log tab will display a list of log entries verifying that the message
