Sending a GNS Wholesale order via EDI

  1. Create a purchase order.

  2. Once the order is ready to send, Click on the "Order via EDI" button

  3. Once it have be activate, a screen will appear which a "Submit order" button. This with import the order to EDI Web interface which has been provided from GNS Wholesale.

  4. Once you click on the submit, the following screen which appear which will import the order into web interface. From this screen, the operator can the order lines, order quantities, the current stock level for that state's warehouse and other details. It also displays the what items have been recently added to the cart, what item have been added to the cart and what item have been be updated with new quantities. The cart can be added to by clicking on the update button. if an item can not be found or has the incorrect information associated with the a product, a warning message will display on the top of the cart listed to inform that the operator. Once all the item have checked you can process with the next by clicking on the "Checkout" button.

  5. Once the check out button has been pressed, the follow screen should appear. This screen informs the operator display the company details, the GNS order Number and the cart items. In addition to that the details display on the screen, operator can choose the delivery type of the order, add instructions with the order. and apply other contact details. Once this completed the operator can clicking on the "submit" button to finalise the order.

  6. Once the order is committed, a screen will appear and inform the operator of the reference number for the order. The order will then be processed and completed by GNS Staff.
  7. Close the web interface which will return back to the Readysell program. The order in Readysell will now have "sent via EDI" flagged tick to inform the operator that the order was sent via EDI.
