Product image uploads to WebX

Overview

Product images from your Readysell system can be sent to your website.

For a store product image, please make sure that the image name/id does NOT match an image name/id that Office Brands uses for a different product and will trash off any images with the same name/id with the Office Brands image.

If you think an image has not made it from your system to your website follow the procedures below.

If the product is an Office Brands product, (check the Office Brands Data Portal), if it appears in the Data Portal, you cannot change the image on the product.  It will revert back to it's original image as it is an Office Brands product on the Data Portal.

If you need to change it, you need to take this up with Office Brands,


To ensure the image is added to the product in Readysell 

  1. Open Readysell
  2. Click on Inventory
  3. Then click on Products
  4. Search for product and select it
  5. On the Status tab there is a image tab, is there image there?  If it is, move on to step 4.   
    (if it is not, ask the store to add the image in by right clicking on image field and select button Load, and find and add image. They then need to click on button Save this will automatically generate the image name into tab General and save the image into the image file for Readysell.)
  6. Make sure flag is turned on for Display On Website on tab Settings
  7. If it is not, then turn the flag on and click on button Save.

What task runs the image upload?

  1. Open Readysell
  2. Click on Administration then click Advanced
  3. Open Tasks
  4. Select task Office Brands Product Sync (note: this task runs every 15mins, every day)
  5. Right click on right hand side
  6. Select Export
  7. Select Text File
  8. Select Edit
  9. Select Find
  10. Key in the word Image
  11. Click on button Find
    This will take you to the lines that have the word Image on them so that you can see if there were any errors or success messages.
