Error 1113: Error message: Cannot run the application

An error with number 1113 has occurred.
Error message: Cannot run the application. The database version is newer than the application version, but the server with the new application version is not found. Ask the administrator to check that the configuration file contains a correct path to the new application version
If when logging onto Readysell you get the above message. Please contact Readysell Support and the support team will follow the steps below:
Right Click on the Readysell Shortcut
- Click on Properties
- Click on Open File Location
Find the file "Settings.config"
- Right click on this config file and open it
Find the server IP/Host address eg = \\192.168.1.240
- Highlight the IP/Host address and leave it in your buffer
- Open up windows explorer and paste the IP/Host address in it to see if it exists. If it exists, it might prompt for User credentials to access the shared folder on the server. Please apply the Server user credentials or the Readysell Support credentials (found in Last pass) in the space provided. Please ticket Remember Me tick box to save the credentials on the workstation. please proceed to the next step if the windows explorer produces no results.
- If it returns no result in the search then you need to set this IP/Host address in windows
- Click on Start
- Click on Control Panel
- Click on User Accounts
- Click on Credential Manager or Manager your Credentials (depending on what version of windows)
- Click on Windows Credentials (once again depending on what version of windows)
Click on Add a Windows Credential
- Enter the IP/Host Address that is still in your buffer
Enter the Server User Name and Password (This can be found in Last Pass)
Click on OK
- Log onto Readysell now.
Note
Sometimes .\ is required at the beginning of the username to be accepted as credentials to use with the server. Please consult the Readysell IT or Development Team if further assistance is required.
