"Application Updater: The process cannot access the file [name] because it is being used by another process" when trying to open Readysell
This error message appears when the Readysell Updater application attempts to upgrade your local copy of Readysell, but is unable to because the Readysell application is still in use.
Please ensure that you have closed all open copies of Readysell. If you can't see any open copies of Readysell, follow these steps:
- Right click an empty area of the taskbar and start Task Manager
- Go to the Processes tab
- Ensure the Show processes from all users check box is ticked
Find any instances of the "Readysell.Win.exe" image name that are running under the current user's name
You can find out the current user's name by clicking the Start button and then looking near the top of the Start menu/screen
- Right click and End Process
Once you have done this, click OK on the error message and Readysell will attempt to upgrade again.
