Settings Meter Counts Emails for FM Audit

Overview

Some meter counts data for machines can be send via email which needs to be noted in the Readysell 8. Before applying Inbound meter count information the following needs to be collected:

  • SMTP Server Hostname
  • SMTP Server Port
  • Meter Count Email Address
  • Meter Count Email Password
  • Confirmed whether the account is using SSL

Email Type (POP3 or IMAP) 

The Information collected in the Customer Details Spreadsheet at the initial stages of the Readysell 8 Configuration

Counts captured via direct emails from machines are typically matched based on the model name of the machine and the serial number.

Special “tiered” billing is not supported in direct capture via email. This method can only match mono and colour (if applicable) to their respective default meter types in Readysell


Procedure

  1. From the information gathered from the client, enter the details in Mail section of system types. (Administration > Advanced > System > Mail)

  2. Once details have been entered, Open on Task and Run Task called " Import and parse emails" task in import the meter counts.
