Setting up and managing attachments

One-time setting up of attachment system types 

  1. From the Navigation panel, click Administration>System Types
  2. Select FILE-TYPE, set code ATTACHMENT to a designated folder file path to store attachments

  3. Optionally : Select System, set codes ATTACHMENT-USER-PASSWORD and ATTACHMENT-USER-USERNAME to maintain access security on attachments

Attaching a document 

  1. Click  to attach a document to a Readysell record type where applicable e.g., Cards, Orders, Contracts etc.

  2. Click  to open/view the attachment

    Observe the number in (1) indicating the number of attachments for a record type.

Managing Attachments

  1. From the Navigation panel, click Attachments
  2. From the attachments list view, you can choose the following actions :
    1. To delete attachments : select attachments, click  and confirm to delete

    2. To view an attachment: select an attachment, click  
    3. To save a local copy : select an attachment, click  and select a local folder to save to
