Readysell allows you to set up single events or recurring events.
Creating an event
- Open the staff schedule in Readysell and navigate to the date when you want to schedule the event.
- Double-click on the schedule at the date and time when you want to schedule the event, or right-click and select New Appointment (or New Event, or New Recurring Event).
Enter details for the event.

Field | Notes |

Subject | The title of the event. This will appear in the calendar. |
All day | Check this if the event is an all-day event. |
Card | If the event relates to a card, you can search for and enter the card's information in this field. |
Contact Person | If you have selected a card for this event, you can use this field to select a contact person for the card. |
Service Order | If the event relates to a service order, you can search for and enter the service order in this field. |
Address | If the event relates to a card, this field will let you select from the addresses stored for this card. |
Start On | This is the start date and time for the event. For all-day events, you do not need to enter a particular time. |
End On | This is the end date and time for the event. For all-day events, you do not need to enter a particular time. |
Status | This controls how the event will appear in each staff member's schedule. This can be Free, Tentative, Busy or Out of Office. |
Label | This lets you set a label for the event. |
Recurrence | If the event will happen more than once, you can set it up to recur in the schedule (for example, a meeting every Monday at 10am). Use this field to specify when and how often the event recurs. |
Reminders... | Use the Reminders fields to set up reminders for the event. - Send Scheduled Event Reminder turns reminders on.
- Send Scheduled Event Reminder Minutes Early specifies when reminders will be sent.
- Scheduled Event Reminder Sent is checked if a reminder has been sent. You cannot edit this field.
- Scheduled Event Reminder Method lets you specify how the reminder will be sent. If this is None, reminders will not be sent even if they have been set up.
- Send Scheduled Event Reminder To Contact Person sends a reminder to the contact person, even if they are not attending the event.

Select the staff members who will be attending this event. Note that you must set up staff members as resources before they can be added to an event.
- When you have finished, click Save and Close.
