Creating your own flyers

CREATING YOUR OWN FLYERS/PROMOTIONS
From the Readysell Main Menu
Click on <Products>
Click on Tab {F5 Sales}
Click on <Promotions>
Click on <Insert>
Key in the promotion short code (shortened version of the promotion name)
Key in the actual name of the promotion
If you are using special only cost pricing, key in the Cost Start & End Dates that the special cost pricing is to run for.
Key in the Sell Start Date and End Date of the promotion (Sell Start Date & Sell End Date)
If you want "On Promotion" to show for those products in sales/products/purchasing browses, key in the Active Start and End Dates
"Always Sell At Exact Promotion Price" means you sell those products only at that price during the start and end dates, the system ignores the rule of best price for a product. (Leave this turned off if all customers get this promo)
"Only Apply Promotion To One Customer Type" and "Customer Type" fields – you can allocate on customer type to apply to this promotion meaning only the customers with that customer type will get that promotion pricing. (Leave this turned off if all customers get this promo)
Make sure that flyer you just created is highlighted blue. If it is now, left click on it to make it blue.
Click on <Change>
Click on <Products For Promotion>
Step 1 - Click on <Insert>
Step 2 - Tab {1 General}
Key in the Product Code to be added for this promotion
If there is special cost ex pricing that you want to apply to this promo, key in the normal cost price ex GST in the "Cost Price Qty Break 1" field. If you get a better cost ex if you buy in bulk, key in that cost price in the "Cost Price Qty Break 2" field and key in the quantity into the "Qty Break 2" field
Key in the Sell Price including GST into the "Sell Price 1" field
If the customer is to get a better price if they buy more than put the price inc in "Sell Price 2" and the quantity they need to buy to get that special price into "Qty Sell 2"
Step 3 - Tab {2 General Cont.}
If there is further sell including GST pricing to be added with higher quantities, use "Sell Price 3" through to "Sell Price 6" and quantities "Qty Sell Level 3" through to "Qty Sell Level 6"
Click on <OK>
The product now appears in the list of products for this promotion. Follow the above steps 1 – 3 and keep adding the products for this promotion.
When you have finished keying in your products, click on <Close>
Click on <OK>
Click on <Close>
Click on <Close> if you are now finished with the products browse window
Click on <Exit> (on the back screen)
IF YOU ADDED THIS PROMOTION WITH A CUSTOMER TYPE, PUT THAT CUSTOMER TYPE INTO EACH CUSTOMERS PROMOTION TYPE FIELD THAT IS SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE THIS PROMOTION. (and click on <OK>> to save this.)
