Entering and sending a sale quote short cut

  1. In the Navigation panel, go to Sales then click on Quotes.

  2. Click on the button New in the ribbon. (If your screen is small, you may need to click on Create then New.) The New Sale Order screen displays.  

  3. Click in the Customer field.

  4. Search for and select the customer from the list. If the customer does not exist in Readysell, you can click on the button Create Customer to create them.

  5. In the Customer Order field, enter the customer's order reference. This will usually be their purchase order number to you.

  6. In the Lines tab, enter products as follows:

  7. Click on the field to search for and select the product you wish to add. If you know the product code, manufacturer's code, or alternate code, you can key it in directly.

  8. Press your right arrow on your keyboard to move to the Qty field, then key in the quantity required and then Tab again to change the values of the pricing on the product for this quote.

  9. When you have finished entering this product, you can use the Down arrow on your keyboard to move you to the next line.

  10. When you have finished, you have three options. If you have not filled in all mandatory fields at this point, Readysell will tell you what information is missing once you select one of the buttons listed below.

    1. Send Email (Background) – to email the customer quote without the ability to add anybody to the email or add attachments to it

    2. Send Email (Prompt) – to email the customer quote with the ability to add wording to the email and to add any attachments like the latest flyer to it before you send it to the customer

    3. Send Print to print a copy of the quote for the customer then and there without previewing it first.
