Changing General Ledger Accounts to a Header Account

Before you can make any changes to any current general ledger accounts in making them be parent /child you must check the following:

The accounts in the list are:
- NOT the current account
- DO NOT HAVE any dissections
- NOT any account marked as a "Specified Account" or "Specified Account-Site" on any interface rule
- NOT used in any product categories

If there are no postings to any existing accounts, that you wish to turn into a header account, however the account is part of an interface rule and/or product category you need to remove the accounts from both areas. Adjust the general ledger account set up and then insert the appropriate accounts back to the interface rules and product categories.
