Audit Trail

Overview

The audit trail button is on the tools tab, which is the last tab on the ribbon menu.

 

Key Features

Readysell's customisable audit trail records all changes made against key objects such as products, machines and cards. It records a before and after image of the change, who made the change and the date the change was recorded.

The audit trail, and some additional fields, together those features allow you to track who changed important data elements, what the change was and when the change was made.

The audit trail logs the most critical changes to other areas of the system when items are created automatically such as :

  • the source of picking slips created by the warehouse management system.
  • products created by catalogue loads and price book runs.
  • sale orders created from WebX imports.
  • sale shipments created by the generate sale shipments from allocated sales orders task. 

The audit trail system can be tailored to enhance the logging available with the system.

In addition to the audit trail. Key fields such as date created, user created, date last modified, user last modified are logged against all records. Additional fields such as date first posted are logged against transactions.
