X1 Easy Code Feature
How to get there…
From the Readysell Main Menu, click on button Price Changes
New Button – Match Easy Codes

Highlight the catalogue to be used for Ezycode conversion. The X1 catalogues are only for EasyCode matching. They contain some 16,000 products. Normal catalogues can also be used. But Normal catalouges only contain about 4000 products.

Page 2 – For ON & OPD stores only
Page 3 – For Wholesalers only (Not for ON & OPD stores)
The following steps are only for ON & OPD stores only.
Click on the "Match Easy Codes" Button once an "X1" or other selected catalogue is highlighted.

Click on MatchOnBarCode to match the catalogue against your stocked products based on bar code.
Click on MatchOnSuppliersCode to perform the same match on suppliers code. Products where:-

  • You stock the product but the product code on file is not currently an ezycode,
  • The catalogue product that is found to match does have an ezycode,
  • The bar code or suppliers code matches between the ezycode catalogue product and the existing product file non-easycode product.


Once matching products are found you can click on:-

  • Change Product Codes to change all the matched products to easycodes,


The following steps are only for Wholesalers.
If you are an OPD or ON store – please do NOT run the steps below.

Click on MatchOnSuppliersCode to perform the same match on suppliers code. Products where:-

  • You stock the product but the product code on file is not currently an ezycode,
  • The catalogue product that is found to match does have an ezycode,
  • The bar code or suppliers code matches between the ezycode catalogue product and the existing product file non-easycode product.


Once matching products are found you can click on:-

  • Copy Easy Code to Mnemonic Code to leave all existing product codes, but to copy the easy code to the Mnemonic code field for the product,
  • Copy Easy Code to Prevous Code to leave all existing product codes, but to copy the easy code to the Previous Product Code field for the product.
