Port forward and firewall configuration
Introduction
Readysell requires certain ports to be open and accessible from the Internet to operate correctly. These ports are required for various integration and monitoring functions. If you are unsure of how to configure your system to open and/or forward the ports, please contact Readysell Support.
Inbound ports
Externally accessible
These ports must be forwarded (using NAT) from your router/firewall to the Readysell server.
Port | Service | Description |
---|---|---|
8204 TCP | Readysell Web | This port is used to allow authenticated user access to the web version of Readysell. |
8205 TCP | Readysell API (Legacy) | This port is used for web integration with Office Brands. |
8206 TCP | Readysell API | This port is used to allow authenticated automated access to your system for monitoring and integration purposes. |
Internally accessible
These ports must be accessible from other PCs on your local network. Readysell automatically configures the Windows Firewall to allow access, however if you are using a third-party firewall product on the Readysell server, you may need to unblock these ports. It is highly recommended that these ports not be accessible from outside your organisation.
Port | Service | Description |
---|---|---|
3307 TCP | Readysell MySQL | This port is used to allow access to the MySQL database for Readysell 8 |
Outbound ports
Readysell sends outbound messages using these ports. Most routers/firewalls do not block outbound ports, but if you are using a strict outbound port blocking policy, you will need to open these ports.

21 TCP | FTP (File Transfer Protocol) control/command. Used to uploads and download data from Office Brands and for transfer of EDI messages to some suppliers. |

If the firewall is being configured based on a whitelisting policy for inbound traffic, Readysell will require the following IPv4 addresses to be whitelisted to operate correctly.
