Exporting Customer Contract Prices Into An Excel Spreadsheet

From the Readysell Main Menu

Click on report <Report Wizard>

If you don't get the new report writer screen as pictured below, you would be on the old report window, click on <Report Wizard> (bottom right hand corner of the screen)

New report writer

Search for Type = 'Customer'

Description = 'Contract Prices All Customers'

Click on <Run Highlighted Report>

<Close> query for all contract prices for all customers

Report will display to screen

Click on <Send To>

Select Excel and Save it to folder D:\Rsello\ContractPrices.XLS (If this is the correct path for your Readysell. It may even be D:\READYSELL\RSELLO\Contract Prices.xls This is should be run on your server)

The process generates the report (you do not have to do anything with this screen)

The Excel spreadsheet then opens. Commence EDITING ONLY THE DATA AND SAVE IT WITH THE SAME NAME.  DO NOT ADD, CHANGE OR DELETE ANY POSITIONS OR COLUMNS.  MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT CHANGE COLUMNS AT ALL.  ONLY CHANGE THE DATA

Once you have made your data changes and <Save> the file as noted in point 9.

If you wanted to change start and end dates
Excel stuffs this up as it wants to save dates in its own internal date format.
You need to highlight, then format the start and end date columns as text to make Excel save them back in the correct format.
You could then change the dates and import them back.
