READYSELL USER PASSWORDS
First – you need to log into Readysell as each user you created.
E.g. if you created user STEST then the user ID is STEST and the password the first time around is STEST.
You then close out after you had logged in as STEST, re-log in as user A password A (full access) and then change the password as follows the instructions on how to do this.
PASSWORDS MUST ALWAYS BE IN UPPER CASE AND CAN BE ALPHA and/or NUMERIC (IF YOU WANT THEM TO BE.)
From the Readysell Main Menu
Click on <System Administration>

On tab {1 Type}
Key in the word "PASSWORD" and hit <<Enter>> on your keyboard

Click on <System Reference Codes>

Find the Code for the login you created.
In this example the user code was "S"
So the Code for this password system reference is "LOGIN-S"
Click on <Change>

The old password will show in the Description field as being the same as the user code.

Change the Description field to read what the password is for this user.
Make sure that it is in Upper Case only! (It can include numbers as well)
You can use the Numeric keys as well as the Alpha keys if you wish to do so.
Click on <OK> when this is done.

You have now changed the password successfully. You will need to log out of Readysell and go back in to get those changes.
READYSELL SCREEN DESIGNER

PART 1 – STYLE.INI
You will first have to access the RSELLO folder. In the RSELLO folder, look for the file called STYLE.INI

  1. Copy that file "style.ini" (right click and select "COPY")
  2. Paste that file onto your desktop (right click in any spare space and select "PASTE")
  3. Rename that style.ini file to whatever group name you created.ini e.g. group.ini
  4. Now right click on that INI file and select "COPY" and then put it into the RSELLO file (right click in any spare space and select "PASTE")
  5. Reuse the style.ini file (now called whatever you previously renamed it) and rename it again to any new group. Copy it and then once again paste it into the RSELLO folder.

Keep repeating step 5 for each group you need to create.
IF YOU DO NOT COPY THE STYLE.INI FOLDER AND RENAME IT TO THE GROUP NAME FILE, YOUR SCREEN WILL SHOW AS GREY NOT BLUE.
WHEN YOU CREATED THE USER, IF YOU DIDN'T GIVE THEM A NEW GROUP NAME AND LEFT IT AS STYLE, YOU ARE CHANGING THE ACCESS FOR EVERY SINGLE USER AT ONCE GIVING THEM ALL THE SAME PRIVELIDGES, NOT JUST FOR THAT USER.
IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF THIS PROCESS PLEASE CONTACT READYSELL (on 02 9792 4439)
PART 2 – Setting Restrictions In Individual Modules

On your keyboard, hold down the keys...
<<CTRL>> and <<F11>>

Key in the password: design
Click on <+OK>

You can see that the <Change> button has been selected
Right click on this button and the list below appears

Left click on "Edit Button Properties"

Disable the button and Hide it
Click on <OK>

The <Change> button has now been deleted/hidden off this user group of "S"
Once you hide the option, you cannot retrieve it – it is gone (if you save these changes)
When you are finished, right click anywhere on the screen

Left click on "Exit Design Mode"

Click on <Yes> to save those changes you just made. Click on <No> if you have made a mistake and need to start again.

You are brought back to the screen you started out on, you can see the change we made for Screen Designer Group/User "S" now shows with the <Change> button now hidden. Go onto any other screens you wish to make changes to and use <<CTRL>> <<F11>> to make those changes.

Should you make a mistake, simply select the <No> button to not save any changes and then go back in again.

PART 3 – Readysell Shortcuts on desktops
Now you need to go around to each computer/workstation

EITHER
Get rid of/delete /L A A out of each short cut.
– this makes the short cut a manual log in which forces the user to key in their own USER ID and PASSWORD which in turn links to the user group and its security.
OR
Where is it says /L A A
Replace the first A with (in upper case) the user name
Replace the second A with (in upper case as well) the password
