Using the Send To Button

The SEND TO button
In many of the Browse windows is the Send To button.

You can use this button to send all the information in the Browse to a report to print, or a file to save, to send as an email, to an FTP file, or to a clipboard
Also Note: that if you use the query button in the browse, you limit what information you want to see, then use the Send To button to send only that information to a report to print, or a file, etc.
When you click on <Send To>
The following screen/s appear.




When you select "Printer"
Leave the Options as defaulted
Check the Print To Printer. If this is not correct, click on the ellipses button to select the printer it is to print on.
Click on <Send>

When you select "File"
You can then choose a document format. Either: PDF, HTML, Excel, Word, CSV (another version of excel usually used for mail merges), and XML.
Leave the options defaulted
Next Choose where the file is to be saved, then over type the report name to what you want it to read as leave the document format extension at the end e.g. ".html"
Click on <Save>


When you select "Email"
You can then choose a document format to be attached to the email. Either: PDF, HTML, Excel, Word, CSV (another version of excel usually used for mail merges), and XML.
Leave the options defaulted
Key in the Email Address you want to send the emailed information to
Click on <Send>





"FTP"

When you select "Clipboard"
This saves/copies the information from the browse that generated to your clipboard so that you can paste (<<Ctrl>> <<V>>) it where ever you are wanting to, using the document format that you choose.
Use the Document Format to select the format of this information that you want to send to your clipboard to later be pasted (<<Ctrl>> <<V>>) onto a document
Click on <Send>


NOTE:
SUPPRESS GREENBAR
Flagged on it suppresses the shading of the headers of the rows of the report
Flagged off it shades the headers of the rows of the report
