From the Readysell Main Menu

Click on <Report Wizard>
"Readysell Report Wizard" screen appears

This lists all reports available to you.
On the left hand side is a list of all reports available to you
On the right hand side you will see a series of windows:- Purpose Of The Report, Files Used By The Report, Fields Printed On Report, Sort Order, Queries, Prompts
Purpose Of The Report
Tells you what the report is for
Files Used By The Report
Is which module the information is coming from
Fields Printed On Report
All fields of data showing on the report
Sort Order
The order in which the data is previewed on the report
Queries
Queries that sit in background, inserted by Readysell staff that run the report
Prompts
The series of questions you are asked to determine what data you get in the report
SENDING A COPY OF YOUR REPORT LIST TO EXCEL

Click on the <Send To (Print Documentation On Reports)> button

In this example I am sending a copy of the list of reports to excel to save in the C:\rsello under the report name of "Readysell Report Wizard.xls". Click on <Save>

The report then generates

The report output is sent to an excel spreadsheet.
This lists all of the reports showing the columns of Type, Description, Report, Notes, Files, Fields, Report Output Target, Prompts, Use Queries, Queries, Cross Tab, Orders, Schedule Report, Schedule Email To, Report Output Target For Emails, Date Created, Fixed Report Name, and Database To Use.
Use this information to help you decide what report you may wish to run. RUNNING A REPORT

Click on <Run Highlighted Report>

In this example...you need to key in the beginning sales person code, the end sales person code (if it is only for one sales person, just key that code into the start and end), Key in the last sale date for this report that you want to see the data up to. (note: in my test system there is a sales person code of "NONE"
Click on <OK>
The system then starts generating the report

The report previews in table format.

Click on the <Sent To (Print Report)> button to send this to a type of file, email, etc.

Select from the options above and click on <Save> or <Send> (you get the send option when you choose to email it off)

I have sent this example to an excel spreadsheet. It has saved in the directory I have chosen in the previous screen print. When you close this window, it takes you back to the "Results for report...". <Close> that window and it will take you back to the "Readysell Report Wizard"
CHANGING AN ALREADY EXISTING REPORT

Select a report and click on tab {5 Design Reports}
Click on <Change>

This tells you that you cannot change an existing report. Click on <+OK>
This will take you back to the "Readysell Report Wizard" screen as above this error window.
COPYING A REPORT & CHANGING THAT REPORT NAME

From Tab {5 Design Reports}
Highlight a report from above and click on <Copy>

In the field "Copy To Report" key in the new name for the copied report
Click on <OK>

The new report that you have copied now shows.
If you do not copy the report and alter an existing one to what you want, then the next time Readysell deploys any new reports, your altered report will be overridden as the name will match the one Readysell is overriding it with.
If you do copy the report and give it a name different to the existing one, then it will be saved and never overridden.
CHANGING A COPIED REPORT

From Tab {5 Design Reports}
Highlight the report you copied, click on <Change>

On Tab {3 Fields On Report}
Use the Left and Right arrows to move fields from the right hand list over to the report list on the left hand side. You can also use the arrows to move the fields.
Using the Up and Down arrows moves the fields into the position on the report that you want.

On Tab {4 Sort Order}
Use the Left and Right arrows and the Up and Down arrows to move from available fields on the right hand side to the report side on the top left hand side to select what kind of sort order you wish the report to show in.
When you have finished your changes to this report Click on <OK>. Then run your report.


ADVANCED MODE
Readysell does not recommend you start using this side of things.
Please call Readysell if you decide you want to start using the advanced mode of the Report Wizard.

Select (Highlight) the report you wish to change
On Tab {5 Design Reports}
Click on <Change>

Flag the "Advanced Mode (Show All Options)" as on

This opens up all the other tabs available for you to use.

On tab {1 Report Description} you can change the [Report Type] to group your reports under a particular report type of your choosing.
NOTE:
YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE THIS REPORT TYPE FIELD AFTER YOU HAVE ALREADY COPIED AND CHANGED THAT REPORT NAME (Steps 8 – 9)
