Full Readysell sites need to:
- All sites need to think about a tentative target go live date. Just pop up a Calendar and think about a weekend that might suit. Readysell will not sign off on the go live date until the last week before go live. By then all the required checklists have to be complete.
- You need to organise a one hour session with Shannon on our IT Team to setup and test your automatic printing basics, Full Readysell sites need to test automated warehousing automatic printing, see Planning your automated printing setup
- organise a one hour session to be shown how to use the mobile app in your business, see Introducing customer to the Readysell Mobile App
- decide if you are going to have your product data automatically updated every day or manage the import the first few times until you are happy with the result, see Getting started with automatic product price updates
- Complete the first data review checklist and send a copy back to Readysell before you get to far into training. See: Stage 0 Readysell project planning checklist
- Start thinking about staffing for the conversion weekend. See: Readysell Fail Safe Implementation Methodology
- Review the various checklists you need to complete and plan when you might get them completed: Readysell approval checklists
Readysell Lite sites need to:
- All sites need to think about a tentative target go live date. Just pop up a Calendar and think about a weekend that might suit. You have to convert on a weekend. As this give you time to test and prepare before your system goes live.
- Readysell will not sign off on the go live date until the last week before go live. By then all the required checklists have to be reviewed. Lite sites just need to email us and confirm you have reviewed and are aware of the checklists.
- On the conversion weekend, a task needs to be run for you that clears all your test data from your Readysell Lite system. Once that task is complete, enter a few live transactions that you held onto from Friday.
- You need to organise a one hour session with who ever is training you on Readysell Lite to setup and test your automatic printing basics, Full Readysell sites need to test automated warehousing automatic printing, see Planning your automated printing setup.
- Think about how you are going to check your imported data and get your training completed. Then agree a plan of action and a tentative go live date with Readysell
- You may wish to use Readysell Lite's financials. If you are still going to use your old financials package. You need to think about how you are going to extract data from Readysell for financials, if you are still using a seperate financials package you need to read Procedure for running financials from a separate software package.
- You need to plan how you are going to transition your debtors and creditors to Readysell lite, see. There is little work to do, this is mainly planning and staff training. See: Transitioning debtors and creditors to Readysell Lite .
