Overview
Only the stock in the locations you actually count are cleared at the time you post each stocktake. Any stock for the products you count that is in other locations does not clear when you post the stocktake.
As you post each stocktake before the final stocktake, stock clears the same way as Adhoc stocktakes.
At the end of the full stocktake. When you have finished counting all the stock you are going to count. You generate a final stocktake. Only when you post the final stocktake will the stock on hand get cleared for any product locations that you did not count.
