Overview

As an alternative to using the email parser, using a web-based form to request and capture copy count from the customers has the following benefits:

• user friendly and stylised format
• simpler procedure
• less error-prone

Procedure

1. From the Navigation panel, click Administration>Advanced>System Administration > Advanced > System Types then select "SERVICE"
2. Select "WEB-PORTAL-COUNTS-ENABLED" and set the Value to True

3. Select "COUNT-COLLECTION-OVERRIDE-EMAIL" and set the Value

   to TrueClick Save 

   to an email address to be displayed on the web page (e.g., workshop@storename.com.au) 

4. Click Save

   * This setting is universal as such will be applicable to all active machines-meters where Count Method = Email (Automatic)

   * Your Email Batch Defaults email template for Meter Count Run may need changing to reflect the steps required to submit new count for this feature. Readysell Support can assist you in this process.

   E.g.,

   Dear {TO-NAME},
   This is your monthly meter count request.

    

   The new procedure for sending copy counts is:

    

   1.    Click the link below to display the Meter Count Collection form
   {DATA}

   2.    Enter the new counts for the machines in the specified "New Count" space.

   3.    Click "Submit Counts" to send the form.

    

   Please Note:

   • Copy counts provided in any other form will not be accepted as this is now an automated system. Do not attach meter count reports as they will not be recorded.
   • All counts must be provided prior to the 27th day of the month.
   • If you are not the contact person for these emails please notify us of this change and we will update the contact details.

    

   This count request email will not be resent.

5. Conduct a meter count run

2. From the Navigation panel, click Administration > Email Batch Defaults then select "Meter Count Run"

3. Review the template to ensure anything in your instructions to your customers is accurate to reflect the new process.

1. Click on the link provided in the copy count email received

2. Customer's default web browser opens and displays a web-based form

3. Key in a new count for all the machines/meters on the form in the specified New Count space

4. Click Submit Counts to return the filled form to the store

5. A message appears to confirm that meter readings have been submitted
