This table provides you with a quick overview of some of the common most important buttons within Readysell.

 

Finalises the current transaction and starts a new one and Close and closes Saves the current record
ButtonWhat it does
Allocate AllSets a payment's Allocated Value to be the sum of all outstanding open items for that payment in the list.
Allocate All CreditsSets a payment's Allocated Value to be the sum of all outstanding open items that have a credit value.
Allocate by AgeYou must select a period from the list; open items for that period will be allocated to the payment.
Allocate RemainderPlaces the balance of the payment against a single open item.
Allocate SelectedAllows you to select specific items to allocate to a payment. CancelCancels a open transaction. If a sale order has been partly shipped, but the customer does not want the rest of the order, use the cancel button to end the sale order. You can' delete the order as it has shipments, but you can cancel it and stop any more deliveries.
CompleteFinishes every aspect of the transaction including any steps that have to happen as separate transactions. If you click the complete button on a sale order, a sale shipment is created and posted just like the order had been picked, a sale invoice is created and posted to update your financials and the sale order is flagged as posted. The complete created and processed two additional transactions that were required to finish the sale. Posted those transactions then posted the sale itself.
CopyCreates a copy of the current record. If you have a range of pens in different colours, just use the new button to create the first pen. Then use the copy button to copy the pen and change the colour on each copy. That way you can put many products on range by only changing the differences between the products instead of having to type each one in one product at a time.
DeleteDeletes the highlighted item. The Delete button in the ribbon will delete the record you are working on (for example, click Delete in a sales order when the sale order tab is blue to delete that order); the Delete button at line level will delete one or more selected linesshown custom above lists such as sale order lines will delete all of the lines you currently have highlighted (selected)
FinaliseCompletes and posts the current transaction. This also creates an open item and posts it to the general ledger. 
Finalise and AllocateCompletes and posts the current transaction, and opens the Allocation window. Export ToExports outputs rows from a list view to Excel or other formats. Highlight the lines you want to export, for example press CTRL and "A" to select all lines in a list. Then click on the arrow below the export button to export the list to Excel. When you consider that you can add subtotals and totals to most lists, the export button replaces the need for most reports. 
FinaliseFinishes the current transaction.
NewCreates a new record. For example, if you are in the Cards module and you click New, Readysell will create a new card. 
NotesAllows you to enter notes against a record or line item. 
ReverseReverses the current transaction. You can only reverse transactions that fall within an open periodSave and CompleteShips and invoices the current order in full. Readysell will generate a sales shipment and a sales invoice. Save and ShipSaves any changes to the transaction, and generates a sales shipment. 
Send ButtonSend button appears on different modules there are three options (Email (background), Email (prompt) and Print). Email (background) sends the email. Email (Prompt) a send email box appears for you to edit/ review the email that will be sent out. Print give you the option to print it out.
Show Allocation Shows you a list of all open items that have been allocated against a given payment. Show in Report Shows you a list of reports available for the record or line. 
Show Related Shows you a list of items related to the current record. For example, you can use this button to view the customer, sale invoice and sale order for a shipment.
Show Source RecordShows you the original transaction for the current record. For example, you can use this button to view the purchase invoice for an open item
Show Transaction Allows you to see a transaction in full. 
Unallocate All Returns the allocated value to zero for all open items that have been allocated against a payment.
Unallocate SelectedReturns the allocated value of selected open items to zero.
CancelCancels a transaction without saving it.
CopyCreates a copy of the current record. 
Export ToExports currently visible data to the selected format. This can be done at record or line level. 
Finalise and New
SaveSaves the current record
Save and FinaliseSaves and finalises the current transaction. 
Save you are working on, but does not close it.
Set Date RangeAllows you to restrict the current view to transactions within a selected date range. 
Set Period RangeAllows you to restrict the current view to transactions within a selected period range. 
Print PreviewShows a print preview of the chosen fieldSave and CloseSaves and closes the current record.
