Creating the actual price level

Navigation Panel > Administration > Price Levels

  1. Click on the button New

  2. Key in the Code - Give the price level a code that makes sense as to what the price level represents

  3. Key in Description - Give the price level a description of what the price level represents/is about

  4. Select a calculation method

    1. Fixed Sell - means you have to manually key in the sell price of each and every product in your product file - this usually is NOT the way to go unless you are importing data into this price level

    2. Current Cost - means you are letting the system markup from cost/GP% from cost but this needs to be set per product also.

    3. Discount From Price Level - means that you are discounting down or discounting up or matching the price from another price level.

  5. Set the Discount Percent ONLY if you are using the Calculation Method of Discount From Price Level to a positive percentage number to discount down, a negative percentage number to discount up by or leave it at 0 if you want it to match the other price level. Otherwise leave it at 0 anyway

  6. For the rest of the fields - they are used by web integration with the head office of Office Brands.

You need to then have the price level generate across all products

The price level will NOT instantly populate across the other products

Navigation Panel > Administration > Advanced > Tasks > task name: Generate Product Price Levels

You can either

Run the task Generate Product Price Levels manually yourself to populate them now
OR
Wait for the task Generate Product Price Levels to automatically run overnight
