Readysell allows you to set up single events or recurring events.

Field | Notes |
---|---|
Subject | The title of the event. This will appear in the calendar. |
All day | Check this if the event is an all-day event. |
Card | If the event relates to a card, you can search for and enter the card's information in this field. |
Contact Person | If there is a single contact person for this event, you can search for and enter their name in this field. |
Service Order | If the event relates to a service order, you can search for and enter the service order in this field. |
Address | If the event relates to, or will be held at, a particular address that is stored in Readysell, you can search for and enter the address in this field. |
Start On | This is the start date and time for the event. For all-day events, you do not need to enter a particular time. |
End On | This is the end date and time for the event. For all-day events, you do not need to enter a particular time. |
Status | This controls how the event will appear in each staff member's schedule. This can be Free, Tentative, Busy or Out of Office. |
Label | This lets you set a label for the event. |
Recurrence | If the event will happen more than once, you can set it up to recur in the schedule (for example, a meeting every Monday at 10am). Use this field to specify when and how often the event recurs. |
Reminders... | Use the Reminders fields to set up reminders for the event.

Description | This is a description of the event. This field can be as detailed as you need it to be. |
Resources | This is a list of users who have been invited to attend the event. Click Insert to add users to this list. |

Creating an event
- Double-click on the schedule at the date and time when you want to schedule the event.+
- Double left click on the schedule at the date and time required for the event
- A new tab will open allowing you to enter the event details.
The main properties of the event include :-
Subject- the subject of the event,
All Day- check if the event is an all day event,
Service Order- identifies any service order associated with this event,
Card- identifies any customer, supplier or other card associated with this event,
Case- identifies any case associated with this event,
Contact Person- if a card was selected. Identifies any contact person for the selected card associated with this event,
Address- if a card was selected, Identifies which card address to use,
Start On- the start date and time of the event,
End On- the end date and time for the event,
Label- a tag to identify the kind of event. Select one of the options from the pull down list,
Status- the resource status during the event. Select one of the options from the pull down list,
Location- a code for the event location,
Recurrence- the frequency with which the event is to automatically repeat. Click on the ellipsis button at the end of the property to set up recurrence,
Send Scheduled Event Reminder Minutes Early, if a number is entered here any scheduled event reminder will be sent that number of minutes before the event is scheduled to occur,
Send Scheduled Event Reminder, check to have a reminder sent before the event,
Scheduled Event Reminder Method, select Email or SMS,
Scheduled Event Reminder Sent, read only. Check if the system has already sent an automatic reminder about this event,
Send Scheduled Event Reminder To Contact Person, if checked any automatic reminder will be sent to the customer's contact person as well as your staff members that have been
associated as resources with this event,
Description, a text box allowing entry of any details about the event
The Resources Tab
Resources represent your staff members associated with this event. Each user included in the resources list will see this event on their schedule.
Click on insert to add a new resource to the event
Staff members must be setup as resources before their resource can be associated with events. To do this click on the "New" button when the Resource
window is displayed.
Then select the user you require in order to create a resource corresponding to that staff member.
Creating a Recurring Event
- Double click on the schedule to create an event,
- Left click on the ellipsis "..." button at the right hand side of the recurrence property on the event detail view
3. The appointment recurrence window will display. Setup the number and frequency of reoccurance. Then click on the ok button.
