Overview

Readysell allows you to fill in the carrier on sale orders from cards and/or delivery addresses if the carrier on the sales order is blank. There are two ways to do this:

  • Fill in the required carrier on the customer card. When you create an order for the customer, the carrier from the card.settings will fill in the carrier onto the sale order
  • Fill in the required carrier on one or more delivery address for the customer card. When you create an order for the customer, if the customer itself does not have a carrier setup up on the customer card settings and you select a delivery address, the carrier from the delivery address will fill in the carrier on the sale order

Procedure

  • If the carrier on the customers card and the customers address selected is blank and the carrier on the sale order is blank. The carrier on the sale order will be blank.
  • If the carrier on the customers card is filled in and the carrier on the customers address selected is not filled in and the carrier on the sale order is blank. Then the carrer from the customers card will be prepopulated onto the carrier on the sale order.
  • If the carrier on the customers card is filled in and the carrier on the customers address selected is filled in and the carrier on the sale order is blank. Then the carrer from the customers delivery address will be prepopulated onto the carrer on the sale order.
  • If the carrier on the customers card is not filled in and the carrier on the customer address selected is filled in and the carrier on the sale order is blank. Then the carrer from the selected delivery address will be prepopulated onto the carrer on the sale order.
  • If you manually blank the carrier on the sales order, it will stay blank unless you select a customer or delivery address again. If you do so the the pre-populate carrier features discussed above will apply to the sale order again and may fill in a customer carrier on the sale order.


If you manually remove the Carrier from the sales order this does not remove the delivery run.
If you manually change the Carrier on the sales order to a carrier that is not set up on the customers delivery address, the delivery remains as per the prepopulated delivery run.
