- Ensure the product category that the products are in have a Cost Method = Manual
- Ensure that the right products are in the right non stock product category if you are setting a cost method on the category
- If stock is to be used when providing and charging for the service, when the stock is received, put that stock aside somewhere.
Do not put the stock on the shelf where a customer can access it. - Insert a Stock Quantity Adjustment or a Stock take to account for the stock when charging for that service.
- Insert a sales order to the customer, selling the non stock product that stands for the service .
The system will pop up asking for a Cost for this Make sure you have a column on your screen called Each Cost Ex Tax. Use this to change the cost for the relevant line/s of product
Insert a cost and continue.
