- Scan factory Defaults which Scanning Unit. Scanning Unit and Cradle should flash green and red.
- Scan "Pair Mode". Once scanned, place the Scanning unit in the Cradle. A little Blue light will flash on the scanning unit and the cradle which have a solid red light. After 4 seconds, The cradle light will change from red to Blue. This means that it is connect and is currently in Keyboard wedge mode (USB-HID). This can be tested with another bar-code (Not in the document) in Notepad or Command Prompt and prove that it scans. (Stop here if you use the scanner with Readysell 7)
- Once you confirm that the scanner is working in USB mode, Scan the "USB COM Port Emulation" on this document to Convert the scanner from USB-HID to USB COM. Once this is complete, Open up Readysell and test a bar-code in a sales screen. If this doesn't work, Contact Readysell for assistance. (Stop here If the scanner is used in Readysell 8 or Readysell POS)
