You can add a note to a product and by turning on the appropriate check boxes you can set it to:

  • display on the product only
  • print on the line level of a sales order and/or purchase order
  • pop-up on a sales order and/or purchase order.

...

  1. From the Navigation pane, double click on Inventory then click on Products
  2. Select a product
  3. Click on Notes button located on the ribbon line

  4. To add a new note and set it to popto pop-up on a sales order and print on the line level of a and/or purchase order only, click on New

  5. Type notes in the text field

  6. Check the Display On Sale and/or Purchase Note check boxes
  7. Click on Save and Close
    By turning these 2 check boxes on these notes will pop up in a window when this product is either sold or purchased.

  8. To have the product print only on a sales order line and/or purchase order line, only turn on the check boxes Sales Notes and/or Purchase Notes.

     

Tip

Uncheck all four boxes to set it to display on the product only.
