You can locate a purchase order through either Purchasing or Sales.

Note: Do not change any quantities at this stage.

 Locating the purchase order through Purchasing

Use this method if you know the transaction number of the purchase order

1. In the navigation panel, go to Purchasing then Orders.
2. On the left hand side of the screen is a list of all of the purchase orders
3. When searching for a purchase order use the transaction number search field.
4. Left click into that field and start typing in the purchase order number.  For each letter or number you key in, the list of products purchase order will decrease in order for you to select the product which purchase order number you are after.
5. When searching for a product name use the product name search field.
6. Left click into that field and start typing in the beginning of that product name.  Alternately, instead you can use the % and then type in a word or part of word of the product name.  i.e. %Pen
7. As you key in the search, the results show below the search field.
8. Double Click on the Product Purchase order that you wish to see the details for.
9. View the information.
10. Enter the transaction number and search for the order you are receiving. Alternatively, you can search on the customer name.
11. Select the order in the list.
