Overview

Email batch defaults are used to define the template used when sending email batches from Readysell. The default includes the sender's name and address, the structure of the subject line and the contents of the email itself.

This feature is not available in Readysell Lite. 

This page covers how you can customise the template by inserting images and linking them to your web site. This is a convient way to market to customers.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation panel click on Administration then click on Email Batch Defaults

  2. Select the email batch default you would like to customise (for example, "Statements")

  3. In the "Template" area, put your mouse cursor in the place where you would like the image to appear.

  4. Click the  icon
  5. Click Browse...
  6. Find the image you'd like to insert on your PC, then click Open
  7. Click OK
  8. Click on the image in the editor
  9. Click the  icon
  10. Paste in the URL you would like to link to
  11. Click OK
  12. Click Save

How to insert a hyperlink to an image manually via html tab

After the image as been applied to the email template, click on the HTML tab at the bottom of the detail screen and find the section relating to the image use want to apply the hyperlink to. Once the image has been found, apply the following between "<p>" and "<IMG Style":

<A href="(Insert website URL here)">

Once this has been applied, save the changes and test the newly update template. An example of change is provided below.   

E.g. <P><A href="Website"><IMG style="HEIGHT: 278px; WIDTH: 929px" border=0 hspace=0 alt="" src="[image]" width=1199 align=baseline height=300>

If completed corrected the images should open the hyperlink.
