Clearing Web Category ID using on product categories using bulk update run

Overview

It is possible for your product categories to get out of line with the website?

Periodically it is recommended you clear all the Web Category ID information on your product categories and let the end of day processes set them up again.  This gives you a clean set of links between your product categories and WebX.

At the time of writing the mass update, the required document had not been built.  This document describes how you will action this procedure once the feature is available.

Procedure

Select "Bulk Maintenance" then "Bulk Update Runs" from the Navigation panel

 Click on button "New" then click on button "Extract"

Click on the pull down arrow to the right of the "Bulk Update Run Set" field then if you can't see a rule called "Clear Product Category WebID" click on button "New" below the list.  If you can see the "Clear Product Category WebID" rule, just select it.

Setup your update rule as shown below, then click "Save and Close"
