Understanding the "Dead stock value" metric
Overview
This actionable metric indicates the total dollar value of stock where the product has not been shipped in an extended period of time.
Colour Coding
Colour | Definition |
|---|---|
| Green | The dollar value of dead stock is less than or equal to the target |
| Yellow | The dollar value of dead stock is less than or equal to double of the target |
| Red | The dollar value of dead stock is greater than double of the target |

You can view and change the parameters of this metric (including how many days before a product is considered "dead" and what the target is) in the dashboard metrics system type.
