Testing Batch Mass Emailing of Customer Statements.

  1. Follow all the steps to the Mass email of Customer Statements EXCEPT set the Batch to be in Test Mode. 
    By setting the batch to be in Test Mode, all the statements will be emailed to the email address from the PC that the batch is being run on.
    Click on the link attached to run the Email Batch Run of Customer Statements and make the following changes to the Batch before you click on Run Batch Now. Sending customer statements using an email batch via Email and/or SMS
  2. Extract the batch as usual

  3. Click on the General Tab within the Email Batch Run

     Show Me

  4. Turn the Tick on for 'Test Mode'

  5. Click on Save
  6. Check the batch lines before you click on the action button of 'Run Batch Now' 
    When you click on 'Run Batch Now' all the statements will be sent to your email address (that is the email address from the PC that the batch was run on)
    Check the statement from within your inbox.
  7. Once the batch is complete, the status on the Batch will update to Posted and the email batch completed.

 

Testing Email in Readysell Test

When using the test version of Readysell 8 for testing email, the emails are not sent out to any recipients. Emails are generated out of our test emailing service purely flagged but not physically emailed. This is prevent accidental sending of emails to customers but still give the operator the ability to see if it can get a send successfully message. If you require further testing with sending actual emails out, in the Live version of Readysell, there a flag know as "Test mode" in the General Tab. This will allow you to send out emails but any emails will be directed back to the operator's email address.
