Service order activity type

The service order activity type - code is the code that is used on a service order call activity.
The value for that code is the corresponding product code.

To add or create a new service order activity type

Log onto Readysell
Navigate to Products
Ensure that the product is set up first of all and exists
The product itself needs to be a non-stock product, have a product type of either Travel Time, or Labour and have the correct default sell unit eg Hours (1).
Once the product is set up, you can create the service order activity type and add the product to the value.

Open System Types
Search and highlight service-order-activity-type
If the code already exists but you have a different product code, change the value.
If you have many codes, for eg for Labour, create a new code for each of the activities eg Lab, LabSup etc and add the product code to each of the codes
Click on Save

Eg you can have multiple service order activity types - code, with different descriptions but use the one product code.
