Hire charges using a hire meter on a machine worked example

Overview

Readysell can charge a fixed hire charge very month. The worked example below gives you a outline of how to implement hire meters. 

The hire charge can run permanently by setting a end date way in the future or can expire at the end date entered on the hire meter.

Worked example

We have machine #4 for Acme Pty Ltd. We want to charge them $50 a month hire fee.

As you can see from the example screen print below, the meter type used on the hire meter must have the service charge tickbox on the Meter type ticked

Then we just enter the hire charge as a meter price on the hire meter and set the price of the meter price to be $50
