Web Categories

Web Categories are the categories used on the website where the store is using it's own website.  You create the Web Categories, then add the products to those web categories.

You can add to the already existing categories

OR

If you haven't already created any Web Categories you can now start by creating the Parent Category and all of the child categories to go under that.

How to create a web category

1. From the Navigation panel
2. Open up Administration

3. Click on Web Categories

4. The Web Categories browse window opens

   1. at this point you can start creating your categories.

5. Click on button New

    Show me

   

   1. Then create a new Web Category window appears

      
      

       Show me

      

   2. Key in the Name of the Web Category
   3. Select from the drop-down box the Parent Category for this Web Category (if no web category exists and you are creating the parent category at the moment, leave this field empty)
   4. Key in the Description of this Web Category
   5. Click on Insert to add products to this Web Category manually
      
      

6. Click on button Save and Close

    Show me

   

   Repeat the above steps for each new web category.
