Follow these steps to create a sale order. You should do this for cases where customers have explicitly placed orders with you.

  1. Double Click on "Relationships" in the Navigation panel
  2. Click on "Cards"
  3. Select which Customer you are doing the sales order for
  4. Click on tab "Customer Transactions"
  5. Click on tab "Orders"
  6. Click on button "New"
  7. Tab to Customer Order field then enter Customer Order
  8. Tab twice and Key in the product and complete product line
  9. Tab all the way to the end of the line and into the next product code field to keep keying in more products
  10. After entering all product lines Click on the "Save and Close" button to park the order
  11. Highlight the order and click "Show in Report" and select "Sales Order/Credit" layout, Print the picking slip out and hand it to the picker. Once picker has completed and handed it back to you,
  12. Highlight the Order and click "Show Transaction" and click "Ship".
  13. From the Sale Shipment screen this is where you place any items on backorder by change the Qty field and click "Save and Complete" and invoice it off to the customer.
  14. Once you recieve all stock in you then go and highlight the order and click "Show Transaction" and then click "Ship" this will display the remaining Backorder.
  15. Click "Save and Complete" and invoice it off to the Customer.
