  1. From the Navigation panel
  2. Click on "Administration"
  3. Click on "Interface Rules"


  4. The Interface Rules browse window opens
  5. The left hand side shows the Transaction Types and their fields
  6. The right hand side shows the:
  7. Transaction Type - the Code and the Name of the Transaction Type
  8. Field - select from the drop down box the type of field it is
  9. Debit/Credit - select from the drop down box if the field is a Debit or a Credit
  10. Narrative - this is any further information on the Transaction type Interface Rule
  11. Tab Account
  12. Turn the relevant flag/s on by left clicking on them to select which ones apply.  Leave the flags off for any that don't apply to this rule.
  13. Category Account - select from the drop down box if there is a Category Account for this Interface Rule
  14. Specified Account - select from the drop down box the specified account
  15. Specified Account Site - select from the drop down box the specified account site

 

  1. You can create a New Interface Rule by using the button New (top right hand corner)
