Overview

Catalogue and Extended Range products are added to the website by Office Brands.

You may have your own pricing on some of these products in Readysell, to upload them all you need to do is save your change on the pricing and the task Office Brands Sync will do the rest for you.

Pricing uploads via the task Office Brands Sync occur every 15mins as the task runs every 15mins from 7 am till 6 pm.

You should not have the tick box on for Display On Website for any of these products.

Readysell does not control which of these products display on the website.

  • Turning on Display On Website flag on a Catalogue product or an Extended Range (Endless Isle) product will not send that product to the web (depending on how your system types are set).
  • If you turn on Display On Website flag on your product, you are making the system work harder than it should and risk duplicating products on the web causing further problems when trying to troubleshoot why pricing is not lining up on the web as expected.

If you are unsure of whether or not a product is Extended Range or Catalogue products,

  • Log onto your Office Brands Data Portal (log in details can be obtained from Office Brands for this) http://dataportal.officebrands.com.au/login.aspx
  • Click on button Catalogue Products
  • Key in the product code and click on button Search
  • Scroll across the page and look in column CatalogueNo
    • if the field is empty, you can upload the product as a store product.
    • if the field is filled in, this will tell you if it belongs to a Catalogue or is an Extended Range product.

Extended Range products:

  • You can have all Extended Range (Endless Isle) products displaying on your website (you will need to ask Office Brands to enable this)
  • You can have selected extended range products displaying on your website (you will need to speak to Office Brands on how to do this).  If you choose to add more, you will still need to ask Office Brands to assist with adding more extended range products to your website.
  • You can choose to have no extended range products displaying on your website (you will need to ask Office Brands to make sure that Extended Range products are not enabled)


DO NOT tick Display On Website flag for any product that is an Office Brands product on their data portal. If the product is Extended Range you should be organizing with Office Brands to place that product onto the web from the web side of things not from Readysell.

If you tick it, and it does actually send, then you will wind up with duplicates in future which will cause confusion with pricing leading to further help required from both Office Brands and Readysell to figure out why prices are different, where there are 2 products etc.
