Allocations is a list of Payments that have been made and allocated against Invoices, Debits Notes and Credit Notes.

The Net result of an allocation will always be the value of 0.00. 

Finding an Allocation

 

  1. Click on "Relationships"
  2. Click on "Allocations"
  3. You have a filter drop down box at the top of the screen. You can select 'All Allocations' or 'Todays Allocations'. Select one of them.
  4. You will then be presented with a list of all allocations made with the details on the right of what open items make up that allocation transaction.
  5. The View of the Allocation presents details of the Card, Allocation Nubmer, Status, Allocated Date, Balance in the period, Line Items that make up the allocation.


    From within the Line Items you can see what open items make up the allocation.
    If you highlight one of the open items, you can view the related source record it came from by clicking on 'Show Source Record' . This in turn takes you back to the original of the open item and all the details that make up that source open item.

Reversing an Allocation

Reversing an allocation reverses all open items that make up that allocation.

Reversing an allocation reset the open item value back to its orginal value for all open items that made up that allocation. 

  1. Click on "Relationships"
  2. Click on "Allocations"
  3. You have a filter drop down box at the top of the screen. You can select 'All Allocations' or 'Todays Allocations'. Select one of them.
  4. You will then be presented with a list of all allocations genearated.
  5. Search and find the Allocation that needs to be reversed
  6. Highlight it and Click on "Reverse"
     
  7. The Open Items that are on that allocation will be reversed. That is the Payment will now be outstanding and the relating Invoices and Credits will have a balance.
