Creating Orders

  1. Double click on "Relationships"
  2. Click on "Cards"
  3. Search for Customer
  4. Click on tab "Transactions"
  5. Click on tab "Customer Transactions"
  6. Click on tab "Orders" and button "New"
  7. Tab to* Customer Order* and Enter Customer Order field
  8. Tab twice to Product line and enter Rebate Product
  9. Tab through line and key in* Quantity* and Value
  10. Click "Save And Ship"
  11. Click "Save and Close"
  12. From the Sales Order click on tab "Shipments"
  13. Highlight Shipment and Click on "Show in Report" click on "Picking Slip/Goods Return note"
  14. Print out the Picking Slip and ask the Pickers to Pick it and return it back to you once they have completed it
  15. Once you recieve the picking slip back go to "Customer Transactions then "Shipments"
  16. Highlight the Shipment and click "Show Transaction"
  17. If the Quanty picked In the Navigation panel, open Sales then click on Orders
  18. Click on button New from the top panel to create a new sale shipment. 
  19. Click in the Customer field and select the customer from the list. If the customer does not exist in Readysell, you can click Create Customer to create them.
  20. Tab to "Customer Order" and Enter Customer Order field
  21. In the Lines tab, enter products as follows:
    1. Click New
    2. In the Product column, search for and select the product you wish to add.
    3. Enter the quantity required.
    4. Make any necessary changes to pricing and discount information.
    5. Use the down arrow key on your keyboard to move you to the next line
    6. Repeat this process for all the products you wish to add to the order.
  22. Click on button Ship
  23. Click on button Pick 

  24. Warning

    (Note. The pick button is only for sites that are using stock allocation. Most sites use stock allocation, in which case you should press the pick button. If you are not using stock allocation at all you should never use the pick button. Best practice is to :

    1.  adjust your security roles to hide the pick button for all users
    2. change your workstation printing rules to automatically print picking slips when you press the ship button
    3. don't press the pick button just to trigger the workstation printing rule that automatically prints when you press the pick button


  25. The system can be set so that when Pick is clicked on, it will automatically print a picking slip
  26. Once you are ready to finish the picking slip, scan the barcode on the picking slip layout.  This will bring up the relevant shipment.

  27. If the Quantity picked is different to the Qty ordered -  either:
    1. Phone customer and ask them to confirm they wish to back order the products that will be short supplied. If they do not want to back order the short supplied quantity. Change the quantity ordered for those products on the sales order. , If they do want to back order the short supplied quantities leave the quantity ordered as is. Hit Save & Close. When  When you click on the "Ship" button change the quantity on the shipment. 
    2. Do not phone the customer. When you click on the "Ship" button change Change the quantity on the shipment.
    The Sale Shipment will now appear
  28. Make any adjustment adjustments to the shipment. i.e. change QTY on products
  29. Click on "Complete" - Note down shipment Number

  31. Your customer's should be set to automatically print or email or both.  when you click on the OK button to finish the tender window the relevant appropriate actions will occur according to the settings on that customer's card.
