  1. Open the schedule in Readysell and navigate to the date when you want to schedule the event.
  2. Double-click on the schedule at the date and time when you want to schedule the event, or right-click and select New Appointment (or New Event, or New Recurring Event).
  3. Enter details for the event.

    FieldNotes
    SubjectThe title of the event. This will appear in the calendar.
    All dayCheck this if the event is an all-day event. 
    CardIf the event relates to a card, you can search for and enter the card's information in this field.
    Contact PersonIf you have selected a card for this event, you can use this field to select a contact person for the card.
    Service OrderIf the event relates to a service order, you can search for and enter the service order in this field.
    AddressIf the event relates to a card, this field will let you select from the addresses stored for this card.
    Start OnThis is the start date and time for the event. For all-day events, you do not need to enter a particular time.
    End OnThis is the end date and time for the event. For all-day events, you do not need to enter a particular time.
    StatusThis controls how the event will appear in each staff member's schedule. This can be Free, Tentative, Busy or Out of Office.
    LabelThis lets you set a label for the event.
    RecurrenceIf the event will happen more than once, you can set it up to recur in the schedule (for example, a meeting every Monday at 10am). Use this field to specify when and how often the event recurs.
    Reminders...

    Use the Reminders fields to set up reminders for the event.

    • Send Scheduled Event Reminder turns reminders on.
    • Send Scheduled Event Reminder Minutes Early specifies when reminders will be sent.
    • Scheduled Event Reminder Sent is checked if a reminder has been sent. You cannot edit this field.
    • Scheduled Event Reminder Method lets you specify how the reminder will be sent. If this is None, reminders will not be sent even if they have been set up.
    • Send Scheduled Event Reminder To Contact Person sends a reminder to the contact person, even if they are not attending the event.
    DescriptionThis is a description of the event. This field can be as detailed as you need it to be.

     

     

  4. Select the staff members who will be attending this event. Note that you must set up staff members as resources before they can be added to an event.

    To add a user to the Staff Schedule turn on the Show On Schedule option in Administration>Users>Settings

  5. When you have finished, click Save and Close.
