Creating Orders

  1. Double click on "Sales"
  2. Click on "Orders"
  3. Click on "New" located top left hand corner.
  4. Tab to "Customer" field and add customer code
  5. Tab to "Customer Order" and Enter Customer Order field
  6. Tab twice to "Product line" and enter Product
  7. Tab through line and key in "Quantity" and Check price
  8. Click "Save And Ship"
  9. Click "Save and Close"
  10. From the Sales Order click on tab "Shipments"
  11. Highlight Shipment and Click on "Show in Report" click on "Picking Slip/Goods Return note"
  12. Print out the Picking Slip close off the Sale Order tab, and ask the Pickers to Pick it and return it back to you once they have completed it.
  13. Once you recieve the picking slip back go to "Customer Transactions then "Shipments"
  14. Highlight the Shipment and click "Show Transaction"
  15. If the Quanty picked different to the Qty ordered -  either:
    1. Phone customer and ask them to confirm they wish to back order the products that will be short supplied. If they do not want to back order the short supplied quantity. Change the quantity ordered for those products on the sales order. If they do want to back order the short supplied quantities leave the quantity ordered as is. Hit Save & Close.  When you click on the "Ship" button change the quantity on the shipment. 
    2. Do not phone the customer. When you click on the "Ship" button change the quantity on the shipment.
  16. The Sale Shipment will now appear
  17. Make any adjustment to the shipment. i.e. change QTY on products
  18. Click on "Complete" - Note down shipment Number
  19. Tender off the shipment
  20. From the Customer transaction screen click on tab "Invoice"
  21. Highlight the Invoice and click "Show In Report" select "Tax Invoice/Adjustment Note.
  22. Print and Email Invoice.
