This step should only be done once ever!

To turn all customers off for loyalty…

  1. Navigation panel > Bulk Maintenance > Bulk Update Runs

  2. click on button New

  3. Key in the name Update all cards to disable loyalty

  4. click on button Extract

  5. Bulk Update Run Set - use the drop down, if the Run Set called Disable Card Loyalty does not exist to select, click on button New (if the run set already exists skip steps a - c and select the run set instead)

    1. Make your run set look like this

    2. Click on button Save and Close

  6. Click on button OK for the bulk update run to run

  7. Review the results (you will see both customers and suppliers in the list, this is okay)

  8. Click on button Post

  9. This will now update ALL of your cards with the loyalty points to be disabled

  1. Navigation panel > Administration > Advanced > System Types > LOYALTY

  2. Select LOYALTY-POINTS-ACTIVE

  3. Change the value to read as True

  4. click on button Save

STEP 5 - Check the results for those customers

  1. Navigation panel > Relationships > Cards

  2. Filter to show existing customers

  3. Add column to the list view for Loyalty Points Mode

  4. Add column to the list view for Loyalty Points Gained

  5. Add column to the list view for Loyalty Points Balance

  6. Add column to the list view for Loyalty Points Redeemed

  7. Make sure Loyalty Points Mode is set to Default for all relevant customers (If all customer’s are to be set to allow loyalty, you can use the Bulk Update Run to update them at once)

  8. Make sure all other Loyalty Points columns for those customers are set to 0

Bulk Update Run if you want to update all customers to be set to allow Loyalty Points

  1. Navigation panel > Bulk Maintenance > Bulk Update Runs

  2. Click on button New

  3. Click on button Extract

  4. Drop down the Bulk Update Run Set selection

  5. Click on button New

  6. Set it to the below:

  8. If you click on Text tab, you can copy and paste using the

  1. following, instead of manually setting up the Visual tab

  1. [Is Customer] = True And [Status] In ('Active', 'On stop')

  3. Click on button Save and Close

  4. Click on button OK

  5. Review the results on the Lines tab

  6. Delete off any that you do not want to have Loyalty turned on for

  7. If you are happy with the results, click on button Post

  8. It may take a while to post that setting to all of those customer cards but let the system complete the posting of this setting.
