Readysell emails can complement your current email client. Our aim is to improve Readysell email over time so that eventually Readysell can be used as your only email client.

The advantages of sending and receiving all emails from inside Readysell include :-

's Messaging feature allows you to send and receive emails from contacts, and to view and manage automatically generated emails.

  • You can pop up the source transaction directly from the email.
  • All automatically generated emails and manual emails are stored in one place.
  • Sending Sent and Receiving of received emails can be viewed in one the same list.
  • All emails for all users or just one user can be searched.

Viewing Emails

 

  1. Click on "Emails" inside the Relationship branch of the navigation bar

The main fields in emails include :-

Sender-  is the email address of the person that sent the email

Subject-  is the reason for sending the email

Result type-  where emails are imported into Readysell the email is analysed to decide which machine, card or transaction it is related to. 
The result type is either Blank, Success or Fail

Date-  the date when the email was sent or received

Body txt-  The body of the email stores all the information in detail about the email itself.

Associated Items Tabs

Along side of the Body Text of the email on the email detail view are a number of tabs. Each tab contains a list which may contain items associated/related to the email.

The main tabs are :-

  • Mail Parser Results is a log of the results found by Readysell when trying to match an email received by Readysell against existing objects in the system. An email will have mail parser results if it is received by Readysell.
  • Meters - is any machine meters associated with the email. Emails will be associated with a meter if it was received by Readysell and found to be related to a meter count emailed to Readysell by a machine.
  • Cases - any support cases associated with the email. Emails will be associated with cases if the email was sent from a case or received as a reply to an email sent about a case.
  • Service orders-  any service orders associated with the email. Emails will be associated with service orders if the email was sent from a service order or received as a reply to an email sent about a service order
  • Meter count run lines - any meter count run lines associated with the email. Emails will be associated with a meter count run if the email was sent from a batch of suggested meter counts or received as a reply to an email sent about a batch of suggested meter counts.
  • File Attachements - any files that have been attached to the email.

 1. Click "Relationships" then "Emails" and "Send Email" icon top left.

Using the message log

In the navigation pane, click Relationships then click Messages. The Message Log is displayed, showing all emails that you have access to view.

Viewing a message

You can click on an email in the message log to view the email text, any attachments, and a variety of other information. The following tabs are displayed:

  • Message shows the body of the email.
  • Attachments shows any attachments. Double-click on an attachment to open it.
  • Records shows any records related to the email.
  • Parser Results shows parser results generated by the system when processing the email.
  • Service Orders is only relevant if the email was sent from, or in reply to, a service order in Readysell.
  • Meters is only relevant if the email is related to a meter count emailed automatically to Readysell.
  • Meter Count Run Lines is only relevant if the email was sent from, or in reply to, a batch of suggested meter counts.

Sending a message

 You can send emails directly from the Readysell message log by clicking the New Email button in the Home ribbon.
